Want to Finally Have the Space to Breathe in Your Business?

Join Roberta Ryan on Saturday, May 18th from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM for a workshop!
Let go of overwhelm. Get clear on the next steps that really move the needle. Design a business that’s aligned to your strengths and deepest values.

Learn how to reduce overwhelm, and increase your business impact and income

Do you feel like you’re taking action but moving at a snail's pace — exhausted without any time to rest, nurture your creativity, or spend time with your family?

This workshop is an opportunity to realign, refocus, and strategize how best to grow your business — giving it the foundational roots it needs to really flourish.

The resiliency that comes from having a deeply rooted business takes time to develop — and it is well worth the effort.

Like a tree that looks healthy but easily topples over in a storm because its roots aren’t strong and anchored, your business needs strong roots for sustainable, healthy growth that can weather any storm.

These roots are the foundation of your business. They are the key to thriving and letting go of overwhelm. And you can build your foundation by answering these three questions.
- Why I’m really in business?
- What’s non-negotiable to feel successful in my business?
- How do I want to spend my time in my business?

These questions may seem simple on the surface, but giving yourself the space, and guidance, to really delve into them changes everything.

Lunch & Learn with Regina Martinelli & Ryan Perry

June 11th, 12:00pm - 1:00pm

The Rapport Basics For Business workshop is designed to engage, inspire and raise your level of communication to help you close more business, retain clients longer and increase staff loyalty. We all know that people do business with people they trust. Rapport is the main factor in building trust with anyone, and we will show you how to do it easily and with confidence.

During this 1-hour Workshop will cover:

  • What Rapport is and is not
  • How to know when you are in rapport or not
  • How to get back into rapport with someone and stay there
  • How our “critter brains” rely on rapport to determine “friend or foe” which can cause miscommunication, disconnect and loss of business if not done correctly
  • How rapport can turn a meeting from bad to good, so you can have the results you desire

Rapport is essential in helping you build deeper, quality relationships in your business and personal life. We are looking forward to meeting you at the workshop.

Office Food Favorites:
Golden Bun: Loved for their cheap prices, great taste, and quick service, you can't go wrong with a Banh Mi sandwich from Golden Bun. Serves as a great option for vegetarians and vegans too!

Belly Left Coast Kitchen: Stop in for a quick lunch made with delicious flavor! We recommend the Fig & Prosciutto Pizza, Bacon Spinach Salad, or their Surf ’N’ Turf Fish Tacos.

Bollywood Bar & Clay Oven: Serving up a decadent aroma of flavor and spices, Bollywood is sure to quell your appetite! Enjoy a Tiffin for a quick downtown lunch! A Tiffin is an Indian English word for a type of meal. It can refer to the midday luncheon or, in some regions of the Indian subcontinent, a between meal snack, or in South Indian usage, a light breakfast.

Member Spotlight

Every month, coLAB turns the spotlight on members who are making an impact in their community or professional field. The spotlight offers an opportunity to share your professional initiatives with your colleagues, inspire others to consider membership, and strengthen awareness of coworking and community.

If you are interested in being highlighted or nominating another member for the spotlight, please let the coLAB Team know! Read about our current group of members in the spotlight below:
This months member spotlight shines on Matt Pell!
Matt, a father of four, grew up in Los Altos, moved to Vermont for 14 years and moved back to CA, and Santa Rosa, 4 years ago (his wife's hometown). He now runs Seacliff, a company that helps early-stage tech startups operationalize their sales and business efforts, usually engaging with these companies once they've raised between $2-$5M. He has worked with nearly 30 companies over the past 8+ years with some going on to become household names (and some who are no more). A passionate learner, athlete and coach, you can find Matt coaching or watching his kids in their activities and out of the roads and trails all around Santa Rosa.
